Located in the hamlet of Priorat de Masarac, in Alt Empordà, the estate’s plots mostly contain old vines of the carignan, red and white grenache and macabeo varieties, along with a few other varieties such as cabernet.
Our wines
Our vineyards are home to some very old vines, including carignan vines dating back to 1919. The challenge is to interpret them with the utmost respect but, above all, with plenty of intuition.

OUR WINES
VINYES DE LA DOT
At the end of the 19th century, a young woman from Figueres got married and as part of her dowry took possession of a vineyard in the hamlet of Priorat de Masarac in the Alt Empordà area.
She then rented out the vineyard to a family of farmers in order for them to work it. This state of affairs has been maintained to this very day, with the same family of landowners and the same family of wine growers.
The vineyard covers around 12 hectares and mainly contains vines of the grenache (white and red) and carignan varieties. Naturally, replanting has taken place over the years but some original vines have been preserved with more than 100 years of history.
The farmer ended up retiring and the Vinyes de la Dot company was founded, headed by the oenologist Blanca Ozcariz Raventós.
