The Monastery of Santa Maria de l’Om, a church built in the Romanesque-baroque style in the ancient priory after which Priorat de Masarac is named, stands right in the middle of the Vinyes de la Dot estate. Its north façade shelters our white grenache and macabeo vines, which are over 40 years old. The smoothness, traces of sweetness and delicate, citrusy lime blossom perfumes of the grenache play with the freshness and lightness of the macabeo; the two grapes combine to offer a sensation of vivacity and agility that recalls the granitic porosity of the fluvial terraces where these vines are rooted.
We recommend serving el Gratallunes at 8-10ºC in order for the wine to express its full aromatic and tactile range. Contains: sulphites L-GL-17.
